At five o'clock in the afternoon on October 3, 2023, the Nanjing University Chinese Orchestra played an oriental movement at the Taverna in Koper. Irena Lazar, Dean of the School of Humanities at Primorska University, Neva Sjobrunn, Director of the Confucius Classroom in Koper, and Program, Deputy Dean of the School of Overseas Education of Nanjing University, attended and delivered speeches.

It is reported that the Nanjing University Chinese Orchestra tours the world and has held more than 1,000 concerts so far.

In anticipation of the audience, under the command of conductor Zhang Jingbo, a unison "Joy" officially kicked off the performance. Amid the audience's endless applause, one piece after another started playing: presenting "Jasmine" which is poetic and picturesque of Jiangnan, sometimes graceful and crisp, sometimes exciting and exciting guzheng music "Spring Dawn in the Snow Mountains", the pathos and profound "Dream of Red Mansions"... The Nanjing University Chinese Orchestra demonstrated the unique charm of Chinese national music in a foreign place.
